Married Glenn D. Peak, Jr. September 1, 1947 at Parsons, Kansas. He died May 23, 1997.
She was a senior inspector for Fuller Brush, retiring in 1983 to become the primary caregiver to her husband, Glenn. Irene was also instrumental in raising funds to bring the first dialysis center to Great Bend, Kansas.
Mrs. Peak was a Great Bend, Kansas resident since 1966 coming from Chanute, Kansas.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and AARP.
