OBITUARY INFORMATION

He married Kay Ellen Dorfshaffer August 24, 1957 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend, Kan.

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Mr. Maneth worked for various retail firms around Great Bend as a counter parts man, retiring from Great Bend Farm Equipment in 1996. He was a United States Army veteran.

Mr. Maneth was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, where he served as lector and on the Vocations Commission, Knights of Columbus Council #862, American Legion Argonne Post 180, B. P. O. Elks Lodge #1127, was past member and chairman of the Great Bend Tree Board, and Dominican Sisters Associate. He volunteered for RSVP and EARS and was a volunteer escort at Central Kansas Medical Center.

one daughter: Jennifer Kay Maneth of Great Bend, KS

three brothers: Paul Maneth of Great Bend, KS, Larry Maneth of Salina, KS, Ron Maneth of Great Bend, KS

Five Grandchildren: Samantha Asebedo and her husband Matt of Wilsey, KS, Chad Maneth of Great Bend, KS, Tara Mapel and husband Brian of Hays, KS, Todd Maneth of Raleigh, NC, and Mary Helen Maneth of Wichita, KS

Two: Great-Grandchildren

SERVICE INFORMATION

Vigil Service with Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend. Burial will be in Great Bend Cemetery with military rites by Fort Riley Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 19, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Heartland Cancer Patient Care and Support Endowment Fund or Sunflower Diversified Services, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
