OBITUARY INFORMATION
Married Willie Leonard Gibson December 29, 1948 at Wichita, Kansas. He died August 10, 1997.
Mrs. Gibson was an Edmond, Oklahoma resident since 1991 coming from Lamar, CO and Tribune, KS.
She was an active seamstress, making smocks for hospital employees, and for underprivileged children for “U R Special”. She was also known for making all of her children’s clothing as they grew up. She belonged to the “Time Out Club”, enjoyed Bingo, puzzles, and playing cards. She also attended the Heritage Baptist Church, Edmond, OK, and belonged to the “Women at the Well”. She loved her family and took pride in being a grandmother and great-grandmother.

One son: Alan Gibson and wife Vickie of Big Piney, Wyoming
Two daughters: Mary Wells and husband Harold of Edmond, OK
Janette Martinez and husband Phil of Littleton, CO
Seven grandchildren: Shauna Gibson, Janelle Long, Jeff Wells and wife Brittany, Kaleb Wells and wife Julia, Tiffany Martinez, Kevin Martinez, and Joshua Gibson.
Six Great Grandchildren: Sara Wells, Gibson Wells, Avington Wells, Chase Long, Nevaeh Long, and Skyler Long.
She was preceded in death by two sons, David William Gibson and Edward Eugene Gibson; one brother, William Weber; one sister, Margie Freeman; and by one grandson-in-law, David Long.
