He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, American Legion Argonne Post 180, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Morris-McFadden Post #3111, all of Great Bend.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathryn Duryee; three brothers, Leo Mai, Clarence Mai and Earlin Mai, one sister, Viola Bender, and one grandson, Darren Mai.
SERVICE INFORMATION
Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Great Bend with the Reverend Jon Brudvig officiating. Burial will be in Golden Belt Memorial Park with military rites by Fort Riley Honor Guard. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to Trinity Lutheran Church or Golden Belt Humane Society, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
