Clarence J. Tuzicka, 86, died May 3, 2016, at Cherry Village Nursing Home, Great Bend. He was born August 4, 1929, on the farm near Bison, Kansas, the son of John and Frances (Krmela) Tuzicka.
A lifetime resident of Otis, he was a farmer and a stockman.
On January 10, 1951, he married Doris Jean Suchy in LaCrosse. She preceded him in death on September 7, 2013.
Survivors include; two daughters, Diana Hertel and husband Gary of Great Bend, Linda Wagner and husband Myron of Otis; three sisters, Marian Miller of Olivia, MN, Alice Urban and husband Gene of Albert, and Delores Vsetecka of Great Bend; four grandchildren, Matt Hertel and wife Katy of Cottage Grove, MN, Darin Hertel and wife Nicole of Great Bend, Cory Wagner and wife Jatim of Olmitz and Jason Wagner and wife Julie of Otis; four great grandchildren, Logan Wagner, Jaylie Wagner, Lane Wagner, and Ava Hertel.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and an infant son.
Friends may call 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Vigil and Rosary to be at 7 p.m. Friday, May 6th, 2016, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, May 7th, 2016, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Olmitz, celebrated by Fathers Charles Mazouch and Ultan Murphy. Burial will follow in the Hoisington Cemetery.
